An app built with AI works until a customer tries it.

Lovable, Cursor, Bolt or ChatGPT can build a prototype over a weekend. Running it in production takes more: security, stability, and code that someone other than the model that wrote it can understand. That is the part I finish.

What I check and fix

Security

Keys and passwords pasted into the code, an unlocked database, missing permission checks, unprotected forms.

Stability

Bugs that only show up in real use: payments, email, many users at once, lost data.

Readable code

Duplicated, inconsistent code that nobody dares to change because it cannot be tested safely. I add tests and documentation.

Deployment

Backups, environments, domains and logins in your name, so everything keeps running without you and without me.

I don't start by selling you a new website. I start by looking at what you already have. Each step builds on the previous one, and you don't have to order all of them.

    A health check for your web and processes

    I go through your website, forms, email, spreadsheets and invoicing, looking for what slows you down, what is fragile and what is quietly costing you money or customers. You get a short list of findings, ranked by what is worth fixing first. It is yours to keep even if you never order anything else.

    AI code cleanup

    An AI-built app you can rely on

    Built an app or website with AI tools (Lovable, Cursor, Bolt, ChatGPT) and it works until someone else tries it? I go through the code, security, login, database and deployment. I fix what breaks, remove duplication and security holes, and add tests and documentation. You end up with a project that can be maintained and handed over.

    A website that drives action

    Fast websites built for mobile first, easy to find on Google and leading to what matters to you: an enquiry, a booking, a phone call. Domain, hosting and every login are in your name, not mine.

Who is behind it

Big-company rigour, small-business pace.

I'm Jakub Mertl, the one person behind the studio. For years I worked inside larger companies, finding the places where software breaks before customers ran into them. I brought that habit with me: first understand how things really work, then simplify them, then keep watch.

I run a small business myself. Under the Minidom brand I build garden saunas, so I know how little time is left for technology when there are orders to deliver. That is exactly the kind of business the studio was made for.
